The Challenge

Calpeda’s fast expansion forced the company to seek a reliable IT partner capable to upgrade not only their highly complex network but also their outdated hardware infrastructure comprising of servers, firewalls, computers, laptops, printers and smartphones. Also, the management was seeking to reduce the high costs associated with the purchase of a new Microsoft Exchange server, licences, installation, setup, and maintenance.

The Solution

The entire business was moved to the cloud, ending the legacy requirements associated with the Microsoft Exchange Server and all related costs such as purchase, installation, setup, licensing and monthly maintenance. The internet line was upgraded from 16 Mbs ADSL to 260 Mbs optical fibre, a mile of unnecessary wires were removed from Calpeda’s network infrastructure, and replaced CAT5 with CAT7, new Windows 10 OS systems installed, connected and secured.
